Also, the Japanese was slightly wrong (partly due to misreading the font), so I updated that deviantART link with the new version :D

Lauren Faust mentioned in her recent interview with Equestria Daily that she had planned for Zecora to appear more often than she did, and to have been a sort of second mentor to Twilight Sparkle, but that obviously didn’t happen.

Shame, because she’s one of my favorite background characters. :( I hope she appears more often in Season 2.

Was gonna enter Renard’s contest, but didn’t have time to do much more than a sketch. Then I figured I shouldn’t let a good sketch go to waste and colored it in.
