My other little project from this weekend, a GLaDOS ring! <3

The first pic is the materials I used (basically whatever paints I had lying around, haha), and the second is a close-up of the 3D models I bought from this awesome store (go check it out!). They were all a little rough around the edges because of the 3D printing process—although the level of detail really is amazing!—so I painted over them both with white and black opaque paint after cleaning the edges up with an X-Acto knife and some stick pins. Then came the little yellow and red eye details (done with a toothpick and another stick pin, respectively; so tiny!! @_@). Then I superglued her together and varnished over the top for a nice waterproof shine.

You really don’t need to do all this work (~2 hours worth) if you get the ring, but I was happy with the results when I was finished. Now I have a tiny cute GLaDOS to nestle around my finger! c:
